Unintended pregnancies result in detrimental consequences on the economy, social and mental health. With higher rates of depression, interpersonal violence and preterm births being reported in unintended pregnancy. Adequate knowledge and practice regarding emergency contraceptive pills can prevent unintended pregnancies and evade such consequences. This study is aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude and practices regarding Emergency contraceptive pills among college students in selected colleges in Bhutan. |

Among the students in selected colleges in Bhutan, to describe the sociodemographic details and describe the knowledge, attitude and practice regarding Emergency contraceptive pills. |
| Study Methods |
This is a cross-sectional study which will be conducted among students in selected colleges of Bhutan. The questionnaire was developed using REDCap involving sections in sociodemographic, knowledge, attitude and practices. The data will be analyzed using STATA (version 18.0, StataCorp LP USA). Categorical values will be summarized using frequencies and percentages while continuous variables will be summarized using mean ± standard deviation or median. Multiple logistic regression will be used to assess factors associate good level of knowledge. |
| Expected outcomes and use of results |
This study will describe the knowledge score, attitudes and practices regarding emergency contraceptive pills among students in selected colleges. |
