Background Cervical cancer is the most frequently detected cancer in women in Bhutan. Cervical cancer is preventable if diagnosed in the precancerous stage and appropriate treatment is administered. Nurses play a pivotal role in the screening and treatment of cervical cancer, and nurses should have a good knowledge of cervical cancer.
Objectives This study aimed to assess the knowledge of final-year nursing students on cervical cancer screening, risk factors, prevention, and treatment of cervical cancer.
Study Methods After obtaining ethical clearance from the Research Ethics Board of Health (REBH), Ministry of Health, Bhutan, a cross-sectional study will be conducted. The study will include all final-year nursing students of nursing institutes in Bhutan. A self-administered questionnaire will be used for data collection. Data will be analyzed using SPSS version 23.
